ARPS Distinction
I submitted my Associateship (ARPS) panel of 15 orchid prints to The Royal Photographic Society on 9th September 2009. I attended the assessment day and I was successful. I received my certificate from the Royal Photographic Society on the 15th September 2009. All the pictures where taken using 180mm macro lens on full frame DSLR and tripod.
My article on my ARPS together with photographs have been published in the RPS Nature Group Magazine, Issue No. 106 Spring 2010.
Statement of Intent
"Orchids of South-East England"
I want to show the diversity and beauty of wild orchids in the South East of England. All the photographs in this portfolio have been taken in nature reserves that are local to me. These photographs are close-up portraits of the flower spike, showing the detail of the different flower forms.
